I found an auction on Ebay, six years ago. It was a person selling one of their weeks of a timeshare that they owned at Palace Resorts, in Cancun, Mexico. I was a little worried, but after looking at the Palace Resorts website, I went ahead with our trip.
We booked our all inclusive vacation at Cancun Palace over Valentines day, 2003. I was so excited to get away from the cold, snowy Iowa winters! When we arrived in Cancun, we were still wearing sweatshirts, parkas and jeans! It was so hot! It was like a totally different world! The water was so blue and beautiful! A van from the resort picked us up. Upon entering the lobby at Cancun Palace, we were greeted with glasses of champagne. It was so beautiful, everything was polished marble, it was so bright open and clean. Because we booked through one of the "members" we were given a junior suite, with a balcony and a whirlpool tub in our room! Our room overlooked the ocean, it was spectacular. We had a week to relax in this beauty, and be spoiled and pampered!
